I recently purchased a GPS for my husband. He has enjoyed using it to find the shortest route to IHOP, our church, and some of our friend's houses. It's interesting how it seems to know the best/fastest/most direct way to go---and if we veer off the chosen path---it quickly rethinks our positioning and gets us on the right track again. God tries to guide me that way also. I don't always listen. I seem to know what is best, fastest, what works for me...then I find that I am lost. He gently guides me and gets me on the right track again. Sometimes painfully. But I'm always relieved to be back on the right road.
